Bicarbonate of soda test?

Has anyone tried this test to see if it's a boy or girl? It's just a bit of fun but I tried today and it didn't fizz so that means a girl. Would be interesting to hear other people's experiences, we have a gender scan in a couple of weeks :)

I did it! Mine fizzed and I found out a bit later that I was indeed having a boy.

mine fizzed but scan says baby is a girl
