Sweep and stretch

How did you feel after you had one? Consultant completed one today and then said I was already 2 cm!! I’m having mild pains etc but not sure if my head is playing tricks on me 🙄.

I had one when I was induced and the backache kicked in and then next day after a second sweep I was getting contractions started

If they get worse and more regular then phone the unit and they will check you out.

I'm booked in for one tomorrow morning so intrigued to see other responses! I'm really hoping it gets this little one kick started

Meant to have one today and she said my cervix was too high so wouldn't work! Feel like I will be pregnant forever, I miss eating and drinking without throwing up!!!!

I'm consultant led this time as well but the sweep worked well with me with a pessary and one without the next day. Starts off like bad back then gets crampy and uncomfortable.

If it's working then you will quickly know as you feel the start of labour
