So I've taken 2 sainsburys pregnant tests one 3 days ago and another this morning.
It's meant to be a cross in the circle if pregnant... There's the thick line going across but then faint line going down. I don't know if this is a positive or not?
Please help X

Blood tests are far more sensitive than home pregnancy tests, surely? According to google this seems to be the case, and was certainly so when I've needed the same in the past.
Hoping you get some answers soon OP.

No, a blood test will only say positive if reading 25 miu or more.

Megh2296 · 24/02/2018 14:38

Thanks everyone. It's just all very confusing,

I have cramping, disharge etc no bleeding anything like that.
Just all really confusing me x

Can't be counted then unfortunately as there's only a window of time for the readings to be valid.
Are you doing the tests correctly?

JediStoleMyBike · 25/02/2018 14:34

Sorry - not doing, reading, I mean. Are you perhaps leaving them for too long before you check them?
I'm sure you are peeing on them just fine!!

Megh2296 · 25/02/2018 14:43

I don't think I ever imagined the tests to be so complex 😂😂 yeah I'm reading them within the 3 minute window it was pinkier yesterday an it's whiter today if that makes any sense.
Still have cramping and discharge. No period X

Something isn't right 🙄
I have cramping and discharge. No bleeding, and numerous confusing tests!

How many days late are you now?

Megh2296 · 25/02/2018 15:40

Well I was on the pill, I've purposely stopped taking it as id immediately start bleeding and I haven't,
I never have any cramps when bleeding.
When I had a MC last year my cramps were very different to this so can't really compare the two. X

Foodylicious · 25/02/2018 15:45

The combined or mini pill?

Megh2296 · 25/02/2018 15:48

Mini

Foodylicious · 25/02/2018 15:52

It's not common yo start bleeding straight away after you stop the mini pill.
It can take a few months or more to get normal cycles back.

Agree the pale pos test is odd though.

Do you plan to visit your gp again?

Also, you haven't been taking any supplements have you?
I had some slimming pills years ago that had hcg in the.

Megh2296 · 25/02/2018 15:57

No not taking any supplements or anything like that,
Yes they want too see me again on Thursday X

It's just the cramping and discharge I don't understand x
