I did in early pregnancy. What's up?

Well I have been taking progesterone tablets 10mg twice a day, but had upset stomach almost every day with them so tried to cut them to one a day, after a few days of taking one tablet a day started to have cramps, now taking it twice again, spotting has stopped but cramping and back pain didn’t and generally have less pronounced pregnancy symptoms. Midwife is not very concerned.
Snippets, when did you stop taking progesterone? I am 12 weeks. Been advised by doctor to take them until 20 weeks.
I’ve been prescribed progesterone in a different country due to previous miscarriages.

I ended up stopping a bit before 12 weeks - maybe around 8-9 as I had HG and couldn't swallow the tablets so ended up being prescribed pessaries which made me completely constipated (the glamour of pregnancy).

On top of the vile sickness of HG I decided I couldn't cope with constipation as well so came off them. If you've gone passed 12 weeks I would assume you're relatively in the clear but ask your doc why she thinks you need them til 20 weeks.

If it's a different country could it be for insurance purposes that they want you to stay on them? I'm in the UAE and that type of thing is quite common here. How far along were you when you had your miscarriages (and sorry to hear that). Mine were fairly early on so I felt a bit more secure later on.
