Am I pregnant again or not ? Need some advice.

I took a test on 13/2/18 because I just had a gut feeling, no late period , I’ve had sickness , loss of appetite , gone of cups of tea and I drink a lot of them , can constantly smell gravy ! Sounds silly I know z the test came back positive clear as day! Did another the day after around the same time and it say negative , wen to my doctors the same day 14/2/18 and she said to go off the positive test and im seeing the midwife today and hopefully going for a early scan as I have previously had twin girls 17/12/15 and because I haven’t actually missed a period . Anyone had similar results and been pregnant ? Or should I expect the worse ? Thanks !

Took a clear blue test and it’s not due til next week .

If you aren't due on for a week then it's either a false positive or you are further on and your last period shouldn't have happened. Clear blue aren't very sensitive.

Was it a clear blue that was negative too?

Just looked it’s not clear blue it’s clear and simple . The doctor said that you can still have period and be pregnant . The ontly thing that made me take the test was the fact I have completely gone of my tea and I’m a big tea drinker it’s the same as I had with my twins also said I couldn’t get a false positive I guess il just have to wait and see

I’m not fused either way it was a shock to see pregnant as we haven’t been trying it’s just happened but it’s in my head now so I probably will be upset if I’m not and then start trying just all abit confusing last time it was the usual missed a period and 5 positive test lol

I was told by a midwife that you can't get a false positive only a false negative! Congratulations!

Twins do give nice clear early positives!! 😁

Do they ? So could have twins again! They are sending me for a early scan due to having twins 2 years ago so that may explain why! Thank you! I hope I am now i have come round to the idea lol

I'm pregnant with twins at the moment and totally convinced if we try again it'll be twins again. Even though they're identical so I don't think you're more likely to have identical again. And yes twins are meant to give positive results early. My tests were clear straight away.
