Hello everyone, new to the forums here and joined basically to hopefully get some thoughts.

We had our 20 week scan which was very exciting. Everything fine apart from the nuchal fold was measured at 6.7mm so we've been referred. Now they were struggling due to the positioning of the baby, and our tests at 12 weeks put us at 1/10000 risk but I'm still worried.

I don't want to me disrespectful but naturally as a first time parent and serial worrier was hoping anyone could provide thoughts and experiences to see if these indicate our little lovely may have DS or am I worrying too much.

Thanks in advance.

Book into the fetal medicine centre. They will do the original test on you which has the 12 markers. Dr nicolaides invented it. I had a high nuchal reading on my 2nd pregnancy and they were brilliant. Brought my risk down to 1:125000!
