Does anyone know if I should still be getting a positive pregnancy test 6 weeks after birth? Thank you.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Why are you testing? Is there a chance you can actually be pregnant?

Google reckons 3-4 weeks.

I lost my baby quite late on over Christmas. Had quite a lot of bleeding and the doctors were worried about retained placenta. The bleeding stopped and the doctors were happy I would have passed the retained placenta. A pregnancy test at the time showed positive. Now I've been bleeding for about 2 weeks. Took a test and positive. No chance I could be pregnant. I guess I need to give them a call as there is a chance not everything has come away? I gave birth to my little boy and the midwife told me the placenta had come away in one piece.

Call them urgently, they should scan you.
