I’m at wits end I’m a week late ttc for a year after miss carriage.

Tested yesterday bfn

Tested clear blue tonight and this came up with in a min.

Went back half hour later and the line seems to have got lighter

I have the following symptoms to

Nausea
Head aches
Bloating
Faintness
Clammy hands

Starting to feel like this is never gonna happen after my misscarriage.. I’ve had 2 before with previous partner but 1 with this partner.

Can anyone see anything or am I actually gone crazy

Do you normally have regular cycles OP?

Report
Jaedee93 · 22/02/2018 20:27

Yeah I’m either day before day of af.

The only time I’ve been late is when I’ve been pregnant but misscarried. But tests showed up positive and carried on getting them never had mixed pistive and negative, weirdo though because this time around I feel I have more symptoms than before but I don’t know if that’s cause I’m looking out for them! Like last couple of days I’ve noticed a random blue vain in my right boob ibe never noticed that before I’m pretty sure I would have as I always check boobs xx

Oh ok

If you weren't I would have suggested PCOS as I get all the pregnancy symptoms but never am pregnant... which sucks

It is possible in some rare cases women don't get a positive till late on for some reason

Or the horrible chemical pregnancy could have happened but I hope the former for you x

Sorry to hear that must be horrible to experience so often couldn’t imagine going through that all the time.

When I was 18 I was very health conscious and had real bad anxiety’s so I pushed my doctor to give me scan etc and testing becusse I was convinced I had pcos looking back now I don’t know why because I had nothing wrong with me no missed periods etc but the only reason he done it because he’s been family doctor for many years and my health anxiety was sso bad it was ruining my life in every way possible.

The test came back clear still to this day I don’t know why I convinced myself that I had it felt terrible when it as cleared because of the many women who do struggle with this!

I get periods myself... Just I know I struggle to ovulate as they're a longer cycle depending on which side I ovulate from I think.

I also had a test that cleared me... by a stupid doctor who had no idea to do the test on a day of your cycle rather than randomly. A female doctor spotted it straight away however.

I wouldn't worry though. You've got pregnant a few times. You know it's possible. Focus on that and hope for the best... is it possible you could be further along even? Tests can stop being positive if that's the case

They do look positive but iwouldnt use CB as they’re notoriously unreliable from experiences people share on here

I agree OP. I'm seeing so many of those bloody clearblue false positives :( Check with a red dye test!!!

Post the red dye test if you can op
Those cb tests are positive??!!

God if they’re false positives, they really need to sort them out. They look so positive. But I honestly don’t know why you wouldn’t have a beautiful strong line on a pink dye, especially FRER with those lines. Good luck OP.

I'm actually thinking g of sharing this thread with Clearblue alongside some others. @mumsnethq do you have any clout with Clearblue?!?! Is that even the right handle for them...?

I chucked it away cause I spent about 20 minutes looking at it under so many different lights and angles and there was defo no other line. It’s so weird to get 4 positives and the rest negative! Wasted so much money on tests, my friend is round tonight going to see if she can get a frer from her Asda or Tesco as my ones don’t have any! Xx

You see my tests were CB false positives like yours :( I really think if the red dye is negative after this time it’s negative. Fuck clear blue and their false hope. Sorry Hun x

Yeah I’ve got that in my head to! Just want af now and then can start again! Don’t no how cb can call them selves no1 brand with false hope like that xx

I feel your pain. It is odd that af is late too. When will the dr do a blood test for you? That’s what you need to put your mind at rest x

When I tested I used the really cheap ones you can get at places like Savers. 3 for £1. I found them better than any other test I've used. I hope everything works out for you soon OP.

OP, I don't want to worry you, but a thought just crossed my mind about ectopic pregnancy. I had one. I've had 2 DCs since so it wasn't the end of the world.

The point is that I had no period. No real pain, but low/weak positive tests. I had to have bloods taken at hospital over a period of time for them to establish the pregnancy hormone was there and staying the same/increasing. The pregnancy was in my tube and I had very simple and painless keyhole surgery for it to be removed.

Just keep an eye out for any pain/fever. If it was me I think I would ask to see another GP if possible and take along your tests and explain the situation, a blood test should prove things one way or another.

Sorry, I really don't want to cause any worry, and it might well be nothing of the sort, but I thought it sensible to think of the possibilities here.

I find the internet cheap ic ones the best... because of having PCOS I track my cycle via them even when not ttc and they match up to when I think I'm ovulating, I also got my bfp on them 5 years ago and they were right...

I would buy 100 of them for a £5 If I were you OP Grin

Thanks girls I will try and find some of them.

He said that he won’t give bloods results till I’ve missed my next period but I don’t know if he means the day after af would be due which is 4th March or would I have to wait till 4tg of April?

So confused.. haven’t had any pain really only cramps that have felt af is coming but never has xx

There’s no way you can wait until the 4th April. Especially if today7 is right. I would demand to see another doctor, maybe say your in some pain and get those bloods. It’s simple enough for them to do and might save an A&E trip in the future. You must be so frustrated! x

I hope you get the result you want, there is definitely a line. My gp never did a test he just took my word for it, I think your gp is being very dismissive particularly with your history.

Report
RLOU88 · 25/02/2018 07:43

jpclarke - OP has two threads going so the information is spread across the two. She is only getting positives with clear blue tests, not red dyes and her GP preg test.
If the situation is that these CB tests are false I think the OP and many more PP on here (myself included) should demand they sort their f-Ing tests out. It’s shocking!
