No ovulation?!🤔

So Im on month 2 of ttc baby #2. Oh and I had sex around the usual time of my ovulation however this month I havent experienced any of my usual signs of ovulation.

Posted before I finished...

Could it be because we had sex during my fertile days? I can usually tell ovulation by the discharge (sorry for tmi) but havent had that at all this month. AF due in 5 days TIA :)

@TheMissingPieceToMyPuzzle it is normal to miss ovulating for a month that happened to me in sept if it happens for a few months in a row then id go to your gp, also this post may be best on the conceiving board

I don’t want to get your hopes up but me and a friend were discussing this the other day. And we both said the same thing.
We both too have that usual chance in discharge around ovulation but one particular month we didn’t. And it happened to be the month we both conceived in.
I don’t know if actually fertilising an egg has an impact on the normal signs of ovulation or what but if AF doesn’t come, do a test. And let us know. Will be intesteing to see if our theory is right x

I used an app called Flo and it can help you by putting in symptoms, logging periods and tell you when you’re ovulating may be worth an attempt? Fallen pregnant twice using that app crazy!

Oh okay! Im trying not to get my hopes up at the mo! Not had any signs of pregnancy, I have 4 days until AF and with my son this was when i tested and it came out positive🙈 I know each pregnancy is different but I dont feel pregnant as have hardly any symptoms!

Markygirl- I use 2 apps which give me fertility times and when I should next come on, Ovia and Clue :) but its good to know these apps do help! Thank you all for responding x

Firstly I didn't used to get more cm around ov.
I was using opks and never got a proper positive then I stopped using them

I read on here someone used MUCUS cough medicine to help their body produce extra mucus.

Yes Ive heard about the cough medicine too! I dont ever not get symptoms of ovulation its just been this month! Well I shall wait and see, not getting my hopes up though :)

May sound dumb here.. but what is an OPK?😬

Anyone know about sharp pains whenever I tense my stomach? Like cough, laugh, sitting up standing up? Its like central but a little to the right beside my belly button so not my side if that makes sense?

Still no AF, sharp pains have stopped now. Took a test last night and there was a line, but faint, tested this morning and negative. Getting period like cramps so will see if I do come on or not :)

Ok. Have you got a picture of the faint line positive you could post. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you that the one this morning was a false negative. X

No, I dont have the test anymore. I will just test in the morning if I have not come on which there is still no sign, and hope for a BFP in the morning :)

This is a bit tmi but the walls of my vagina are very swollen, cervix has been up and down all day and been hard or squishy. Anyone had the swolleness before? Did post on the conception thread but had no responses yet

I dont think so? No pain, not itching, no odour.

I honestly can say I didn’t notice anything like that when I got pregnant. But then my time and focus was mostly on how much my boobs hurt and the nausea.
Though I’ve looked it up (which I’m sure you have) and Vagina and cervix changes are linked to more blood flow during pregnancy.
But it says that you will notice most of these changes abit one month after conception. It’s probably only 2 weeks for you at the moment if your period is only just due on.
Saying that though, I experienced loads of pregnancy symptoms 4 days before my period was due and only just 10 days after conception

I got another negative this morning now a load of period symptoms have started so I reckon I’ll come on either later today or tomorrow. Thank you for all your help!

With my son I noticed a lot of symptoms 4 days before I was due as well and thats when I took a test and it came up dark straight away. Im gunna order some OPKs (thanks for the new abbreviation ;) ) to start after my period.

I know Hun. When your trying for a baby every day that goes past seems like a thousand.
And the days that your not ovulating or waiting for things like this, make you feel like theyre taking up your precious time when you could be conceiving.
So frustrating. But I guess the saying goes ‘good things come to those who wait’
I hope it’s true
