Hello!

I'm currently 25.4 weeks and I was just eating my dinner and when I felt a pain in my lower left belly.

The pain didn't last long, but then suddenly I started feeling really dizzy.. Like a head rush which started off mild but then got stronger!

I had a glass of water and now I'm feeling better but it lasted about 5 mins and was really weird Confused The baby was kicking/moving alot during this too!

Anyone else experienced this?

Yep. For the last few weeks or so. Currently 21 weeks. Midwife wasn't concerned when I told her.

Saying that, I don't think my MW is brilliant, so get it checked if you're worried. I don't have the pain with mine either.

I was when i had low blood pressure and low iron. My blood pressure always lowered in pregnancy.

Yes I was dizzy in pregnancy. Fairly normal I think, though I never had pain like you describe. I’d mention it to your midwife

LilQueenie · 08/02/2018 22:36

I would call and get it checked. I didnt get the pain but the dizziness was anaemia in my case.

Yes, massively, with all of mine. God it was the worst part of pregnancy for me.
Sugar lows (not diabetic) and low blood pressure were the cause.
But again, my midwife wasn't concerned. I took to always carrying something sugary with me.
Were you really hungry when eating? Could it have been a sugar low? Really strong squash gets rid of it quickly too.

Yes! I'm 19 weeks and I fainted yesterday - scared myself shitless! Text my midwife and she doesn't seem too bothered though.

Thanks everyone!! I'm thinking the pain may have been the baby because it didn't last long and she was moving around like crazy when I got lightheaded. I had some hard boiled sweets and I was fine after that..
I've got an antenatal appointment next week so I'll mention it then! If it happens again with the pain I'll call sooner. The baby has been kicking alot since too so I'm sure she's fine.

It is scary though... This is my first pregnancy so the feedback is appreciated. Nice to know you're not the only one!

Yup I have this, especially if I lay down for a long period of time, I almost passed out at my ultrasound the other day! Had to sit up as I was beginning to feel lightheaded :S
