Anyone else suffer with cramps in the night?

I had an awful night last night. Have been bothered in previous pregnancies but not this bad.

It's not even the main calf muscle that's cramping. Small muscles at the ankles too.

apparently eating bananas can help (contain potassium).

The memories I have of hopping round a campsite at 4 or 5am in the morning while 8 months pregnant.

You have my sympathy.

Bananas, really? Could cope with that. My neighbour suggested tonic water. Eugh! Quinine apparently.

Deffo knock back some bananas and drink plenty of water too as this also helps.

Oh also, if it continues, get some LoSalt and use that instead of ordinary salt as it's rich in potassium too which also helps to aleviate cramps.
