Sorry if TMI ........Had a surgical Termination 3 weeks ago due to medical reasons (Baby had Zero chance of survival), first time having sex yesterday and BF didn't behave and pull out. Today I have had some cramping and stringy discharge so I think I may be ovulating and I'm scared!! I haven't had the one period I was meant to have before trying to conceive.

What are the risks if I do end up getting pregnant so soon?

I could be wrong but don't think there are any risks and the advice to wait to have a period is just for dating purposes.
But honestly I could be wrong so sorry if I am. And sorry for your loss Thanks

Afaik the '1 period' is as boatrace says for dating purposes. Give it 14 days then take a test.

I'm sorry for your loss Flowers

I also don't think there is a risk per se but then I'm not a medical professional. Withdrawal is not a reliable method of contraception even if they do manage to time it right. Contact a GP and ask?
