Hurts to pee

Im 7w4d and i have just visited the loo and it hurt!! . Sort of like period cramping but not all across the uterus/pubic area it was more towards where my ovaries are.

Is this normal or is it something i would need to get checked out??

I will add that the pain when completley within seconds of finishing.

Sounds like a UTI. Ask your GP if you can come in and provide a urine sample for testing. My surgery do this without the need for an appointment. If it's positive you'll get a call to come in for antibiotics within a few days.

I thought it might have been but just been again (thanks baby 😁) and no pain. Could it not just have been from holding too long??

UTIs are so common in pregnancy I'd probably just get checked.
