Contraction like pains

Dd was born April last year and I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant.
All day his movements have been quieter than usual but he's okay. But I've been having really severe braxton hicks and contraction like pains. But not contractions. Can this be normal especially being as though the babies are so close together?

If you feel movements have been quieter you need to get checked out. You have no idea if he is ok!

He's moved a lot tonight in all fairness but I'm expecting it as I have an anterior placenta again. I feel him so much more than dd but he's okay. Movements are totally normal now. I think it's just running around after a house and my dd.

If you ever feel movements are quieter or have changed then you should get checked out in future. At 33 weeks an anterior placenta shouldnt affect the way you feel movements.

In regards to the braxton hicks, it can be normal with subsequent pregnancies to feel braxton hicks more but if you are concerned then get checked out. A UTI can cause contraction like pains for example.
