Best baby monitor (for my criteria......)

Can anyone recommend a good monitor that's £150 or below and meets the following criteria - good sound quality (as I'm half deaf!), reasonably good video quality, temperature monitor, good battery life, no flashing lights (that will disturb baby or parents sleep), good range (for a 4 bedroom house on 2 levels).

Ideally I don't want to be restricted to having to install it on a flat surface and I would be open to having one of those ones where you have to use your phone to view/listen (ideally one that there's an ipad app for as I have a spare ipad I can dedicate to this job). I also don't mind the ones with the dedicated monitors, which would probably suffice and may keep the cost down so to allow me to get all of the other features I want - if such a device exists!

Motorola are apparently good make a for video monitors but I suggest a looks at Which? Reviews as VM have been known to be hacked and placed on sites etc.

As for sound - we have a Motorola two plug in (no video) and it has great sound and covers 2 levels and through walls etc. (I'm a hearing aid user so that says something!)
Hope that helps
