Never really heard of nub theory but have seen a few threads in the past few weeks whilst lurking on the boards.

DC2 due in June. Didn't find out with DS either but I was sure he was going to be a boy. No idea with this one. Has anyone got any ideas?

Before the usual comments, yes I know it's a 50/50 chance, i genuinely have no desire either way, I'm just curious if the nub theory works or not? Results revealed in June!

No idea but what a cute picture!!

Your scan looks pretty similar to mine so I'll say girl 😊 The skull also looks pretty round which could indicate a girl. Lovely pic!

Thanks all so far. It was a very clear picture and baby co operated through the scan so got some lovely clear shots. Not different to DS who refused to shift and we had to go back for a follow up scan.

Nub theory requires the 12 week scan, 20 weeks is too late.

youcantalwaysgetwhatyouwantt · 05/02/2018 20:19

I think girl.

GrumpySausage · 05/02/2018 20:45

Oh that's interesting oyster I didn't realise that. I haven't got a copy of my 12 week handy but will have a look. Thanks for the tip.

From experience of myself and friends it's about as accurate as tossing a coin.
