Hi ladies!

I use Environ Pre-Cleansing Oil and the Sebuwash and wondered if anyone knows if they are safe to continue using during pregnancy? My facialist said it's fine but she did also say to continue to use an oil which clearly stated to avoid if pregnant! So I'm just after a second opinion as can't find anything online and I threw away the boxes with the leaflets.

I have terrible skin so I don't want to stop using it if it is safe but I also don't want to take any risks so just trying to work out what to do!

Personally if it says avoid then avoid.

If you nip into any chemist or large shop with beauty counters then you will be able to get something else.

Your face person should abide by the rules- it's obviously avoid for a reason.

@gryffen Only one product says avoid which I stopped using immediately. The other two products don't say it so I'm just not sure.

Hopefully that's the same brand you use - I had heard of it as I have family in Pretoria who had to come off it due to Vitamin A levels etc.

Good luck with baba

In case anyone searches this in future I emailed a company selling Environ and received the attached list of safe products.

Hi, I’ve just joined the site after finding out I’m pregnant (I think about 6 weeks). I take ferrous sulphate daily to prevent anaemia (doctor recommended this forever ago and I’ve always done it) and I use Environ Skin Essentia moisturiser night and day. There are so many things not suitable for pregnancy, it’s mind boggling! I’m going to stop taking the iron tablets until I get a midwife appointment and ask, and will stop using Environ (sadly, as it’s the best moisturiser I’ve found!) Sorry for the ramble - my actual question - has anyone found a good alternative moisturiser? My old one was just Aveeno which doesn’t feel great going back to. Thanks! X
