Hi sorry if this is tmi I'm 8 weeks pregnant, partner and I had sex this evening and after when I went to bathroom and wiped there was a very light pink twinge to the stuff on the toilet paper. There was nothing after just this once. This is my 3rd pregnancy in the space of a year the other two ending in MC and this has terrified me. Is it anything to worry about or could it simply be because we've had sex I have no pain or cramping just excessive worry Confused

I had this once in my first pregnancy at 6 weeks. Didn't become anything and I have a very healthy 7yr old now. Currently 6 weeks with #2 and haven't had this time round yet.

I had (sorry tmi) brown blood 2 days after dtd, some weeks back. Apparently it’s just the increased blood supply to the extra sensitive cervix. Sex can be a bit traumatic to such a sensitive area whilst pregnant.

I think I am over worrying Tbh. There has been nothing since. DP is double checking every piece of toilet roll because I'm convinced I'm seeing something but dp said I'm "tripping" I think I've just got myself overly worried over something normal Confused I just wish I could not MC symptom spot but that's never going to happen is it Blush

It's really hard not to worry especially in early pregnancy but if it was just the once & following sex it really is likely that your cervix became irritated. Pregnancy in general can be worrying just as much as it is exciting. Then when they're born there are just as many things to worry about.

Fwiw, I've got 5 dc & bled heavily in each pregnancy at various gestations, the first thing they ask you when you call is "have you had sex recently".

To add I'm not a hcp.

Good luck with your pregnancy.
