Nothing helps bring on labour
Nothing helps time go quicker
There’s no magical cure so here I sit impatiently waiting and getting more and more fed up!
Anyone else?

I'm not there yet with this one (only 16 weeks) but I remember it well.
How many weeks are you?
I got fed up at this stage and went for a long walk round the shops. Was out for hours, I remember not wanting to go home to just sit and wait again. Had him the next day though. Am convinced all the walking helped.

I’m 37+3, I would disappear off out but with toddler DD and all the snacks/meals and nap routine she comes with I don’t think it’s be worth it.
I valeted my car yesterday and that was a lot of work so thought maybe it’d do something.. but other than cramps and back ache for a week (which have led to nothing), no progress

38+3 here and I'm so ready for this baby to be here now. I feel guilty for feeling this way but I'm tired of being tired, sick, weeing, heartburn, sore ligaments and just being uncomfortable. I've walked for miles and all I've ended up with is cramping, sore ligaments and a sore back but nothing more. I've had the odd braxton hicks which is a massive tease when every pain I'm like 'yes today's the day' but nope.

Changedmynameo · 04/02/2018 17:26

No day will ever be the day! I’m going to be pregnant foreverrrr

39 weeks with second, got a midwife appointment tomorrow where I will be begging for a sweep! Finding the hip pain worst atm, getting up to pee in the nights comes with a moment of pure pain each time.

Changedmynameo · 04/02/2018 17:35

I could cry because of my pelvis! Just turning over, I move a cm, breeeeeathe through the pain and repeat.
I wonder if I mention that to my consultant she’ll care. Probably not

Remember it well ladies and the hip pain has started already at 13 weeks.

(Hot microwave pillow helps)

Maybe grab some really long films or shows - lucifer is good mix of funny and blasphemy and White Collar too.

Got another 27 weeks to go and toddler is driving me nuts too.

I've got 4 weeks left to go and im bloody sick of looking at my triple chin. She's getting heavier to carry, i cant get comfy anywhere and then i keep dreaming that I've had her and wake up like oh maybe not lol. Just want her here so i can have my body back (sounds selfish i know but if one more person takes a photo of me il punch them lol)

Changedmynameo · 04/02/2018 19:16

twitchett I’ve moved to a cave where cameras are forbidden.
Unless I manage to do my hair and makeup and want to see what I look like with a flattering snapchat filter. But they remain unpublished.
I never got my body back from the first time, but I did lose 3 stone (probably about 5 since actually being pregnant) and was the slimmest I’ve ever been just before getting pregnant again this time so I’m not too happy about that.
Seriously. Who can I write to about how angry I am that after all these years of re production we still don’t have evacuation buttons. I can’t say with enough severity IVE HAD ENOUGH!!!!

It's threads like these that keep me going...This is pregnancy no.4 (dc3) and I am an older mum. Currently 32+5 (and counting) and just had enough. I'm not sleeping properly, breathless, struggling to get about and would like my body back please. If one more person says..."hasn't the time gone quickly," (since I became pregnant)...I think I might shout.. not for me it hasn't. Oh and the classic - you need to enjoy the experience (because it is going to be my last pregnancy)...um no, I'm not enjoying it in the slightest, this being coupled with having a late loss - it has been psychologically taxing as well. Yep, can quite honestly say, I've had enough now! Oh, yes and piled on the weight (lost nearly two stone before becoming pregnant), so can relate to the triple chin thing.

Changedmynameo · 04/02/2018 19:52

I moved house and didn’t take scales with me. Ignorance is bliss!

Saaaaaame.

39+3, failed sweep last week another booked for Tuesday.

Not.a.single.twinge.

Wahhhhh Sad

Lavenderdays · 04/02/2018 19:57

Not stepped on the scales (following ignorance is bliss theory)....but it is so obvious that I have piled on weight x

Twitchett22 · 04/02/2018 20:04

People look at you like you're crazy when you say you hate being pregnant. It doesn't mean you aren't grateful or you don't want your baby, just some people love pregnancy and some hate it. And i bloody hate it lol. The only time i like it is when i feel baby move and it reminds me why im going though all this and why i look so shit. But god il be glad when she's here and i can start dieting and drinking wine again

Changedmynameo · 04/02/2018 20:06

lavender I know I’ve quadrupled in weight.. and that makes me sad. I eat chocolate when sad.
I’ve never looked forward to giving birth so much!

OP posts:
Lavenderdays · 04/02/2018 22:04

Changed....I've also been eating a lot of chocolate...I'll deal with the consequences later because it is keeping me sane!
Twitchett...I get the wine thing too!
And I am someone who has hated being pregnant but at the same time very grateful...I was previously given a poor fertility prognosis and I have also experienced a late loss...I know how special pregnancy is...but it doesn't stop me not liking it x

Changedmynameo · 04/02/2018 22:26

I had fertility issues in the past, but VERY quickly conceived both my babies with their dad (I’m talking first time). We are dangerously fertile together..but now not together at all. LAUGH SO YOU DONT CRY.

I got a 750ML TUB of Ben& Jerry’s fudge brownie ice cream from Asda for £4! I didn’t even know they existed. It was the only one on the shelf, just sat there waiting for my pregnant self. Fate

38+1 (technically +2 as it's after midnight) and feeling the same.
Ended up crying to the midwife, asking her to just get the baby out of me now and was promptly told no. Lol

Time has stopped and I feel like this baby is never going to arrive!
Fx our little ones come soon!!

Mrstobe90 · 05/02/2018 01:06

Also, I'm on my birthing ball all the time, drinking raspberry leaf tea, expressing colostrum (6-10 syringes a day) and sniffing clary sage oil like it's going out of fashion!
Starting to believe that none of this stuff works!!

I'd go for a long walk but I can barely move
