Sub chorionic bleed

Hi guys I'm currently pregnant with my 3rd child and had an early scan at 6 weeks 5 days . Baby was all fine and had a heartbeat but underneath the sac was a small sub chorionic bleed which the sonographer said should disappear with some light spotting . She also said it could be a possible implantation bleed . I haven't had any spotting at all and am now nearly 9 weeks . I was wondering if anyone else has this and what their experiences with Their pregnancy was like ?

Many thanks 😊

I had one about 8 weeks, first I knew of it was feeling like I'd wet myself, going to loo to check it out and finding a gush of fresh blood.
Have a history of mc, so assumed the worst, scan confirmed all ok and I still had a pocket of blood. Was warned I might get a second bleed but it's not happened yet.

How many weeks are you now ? Is there any risks to pregnancy ?

Thankyou

I'm 23 weeks now.
Hospital weren't at all concerned by it, but I was really shook up as I'd lost what looked like a lot of blood quite fast.
If you get a bleed don't worry if it seems heavy, it's a gush that then slows and stops.

I had one detected on an early ultrasound. I was prescribed what I think was progesterone pills (struggling to remember as it was many years ago). Never had a bleed in the end and it all resolved itself - fingers crossed yours does too Flowers

I think they are pretty common and as far as I can tell, whether there is any risk to the pregnancy is random. I had one early on and had two really quite large bleeds that were sudden and heavy and then stopped within the hour. After the second bleed the hematoma was much smaller and i spotted every colour under the sun for 10 weeks! Now it's gone but I have a bastard low lying placenta which can also cause bleeding so I still have to worry! Baby was perfectly happy with all of this btw.

I know they can get reabsorbed without bleeding too so maybe that's whats happening with you. I've had tonnes of scans in this pg and a second hematoma turned out to be one of my veins according to my consultant when he had a look! Easy mistake to make apparently and common to see in second or later pgs.

And stop looking it up online or you'll see all the horror stories and worry yourself sick!

I had a sub chorionic bleed at easy scans in both my pregnancies. I was told that the bleeds might be reabsorbed by my body and since I never saw any bleeding I guess that's what happened. Neither pregnancy was remarkable and the Leeds caused no adverse effects.

early and bleeds...

I had one detected at an early scan, im now 14 weeks and asked about it at my 12 week scan but no sign of it so must of been absorbed. I worried so much about it! But my MW and the EPU weren't at all concerned.

I had one at about 9/10 weeks. Huge gush of fresh red blood and feared the worse. Scan revealed baby ok and I'm pleased to say I am writing this while feeding my 3 week old DD!
