Im 6 week and 5 days and it feels like forever waiting for the midwife. I have taken three pregnancy tests now all positive just to put my mind at ease, as my symptoms come and go. I dont feel pregnant no morning sickness queasy now and again my boobs arnt sore or bigger im not peeing more than usual im just spotty and bloated nodding off now and again. I'm worried im imagining it all or ive lost it im driving myself insane. Has anyone else had this? My friend is trying to re assure me its ok she didnt show until she was 7 months which is true and she had no symptoms. But I'm finding it hard to stay positive today.

Oh Molly, just 3 tests? I must have done at least 5 with DC1. I had no early symptoms either so just try and relax, look after yourself. Congrats by the way Flowers

Yeah i wanted to do more if im honest but my husband said i think we know its positive! i used a digital clear blue a normal clear blue and a different make.Thank you and thanks for that its bought me some comfort knowing that. I should probably count myself lucky compared to most. But its the waiting on the midwife seems to take forever keep thinking I will go to a scan and nothing will be there . X

The first trimester feels like a year when you find out so early!! The waiting is awful.

Just try and take it a day at a time and don't worry about symptoms coming and going or being absent. I know miscarriage seems horrifyingly common but more pregnancies end successfully than not.

I only ever had bloating with my daughter and nothing at all this time round. No sickness, no fatigue, no sore breasts. And I'm now almost 27 weeks.

That's nice to here and comforting it just doesnt feel real at all im very impatient too so probably doesnt help. Im eating three meals a day and not over eating and just looking after myself but it feels all so un real and like im dreaming it as nothings going on. 27 weeks how lovley! Does it go a bit faster after the first trimester or pretty much the same?

I didn't have symptoms really until late in first trimester. But the baby, in fact babies, were definitely there. So try just to be patient.

You can have a private scan (I’d wait until 8 weeks) so you can see the baby. I did that as I too couldn’t let myself believe it reallly. Pregnancy, especially the first trimester, I find stressful and I worry a lot too.

Molly33 · 02/02/2018 12:36

Im so glad what im feeling seems to be normal.. Im tired of worrying think i need to distract myself there is nothing i can do until then. Thank you guys i might look into a private scan nearer the time.

Totally understand where your coming from the first 13 weeks are terrifying and the longest 3 months of your life due to stress.

What I found this time round is working out my due date and the day baby would be born. Funnily enough dc2 is due on a Sunday as was #1 Was born on Sunday too.

I live from Sunday to Sunday and know that another week marked off is closer to Dday

Molly33 · 02/02/2018 13:23

That's a goods take on it sunday to Sunday might start looking it that way help me focus better maybeX

Now you’ve said that, gryffen, I realise I do the same. I don’t think that he worry gets any less throughout the pregnancy but the early days are hard because you’re so unsure about it all.
