Can evaporation lines have color to it?

I know I am not pregnant, because three days ago I had a blood test and it came back negative. But, I tested last night and was negative, and then I looked at it this morning and it looked like this. I thought evaporation lines couldn't be colored?

After much analysis I noticed a true line really does appear within the time frame they say however that does look suspiciously positive - I've never had an evap so I'm not sure.

Can you test again this morning?

If I'd had a test like that, I'd think it was positive. Could it be that the blood test was too early to detect hcg?

Ekphrasis not sure because my ovulation is very irregular... but, it's been 10 days since sex if that helps. BrutusMcDogface.. I'm honestly not sure. I just know the test pictured above cannot be accurate because it did not appear within the time frame. It did not look like that until hours later. That's why I'm confused because I had no idea evaporation lines could be so pink!

My very early tests at 10 dpo looked like that - actually I can't remember if those came up immediately or not. They might have been easier to spot when old/ dry whereas later ones fade when dry. You're not supposed to count it after the time limit really as it's so very early but pregnancies for me started like that. The ones at 14 dpo definitely did get dark within a minute. The problem with early testing is that you can be given false hope if it doesn't keep progressing (a chemical pregnancy) however you're not really early testing if you don't know!

Either test today or wait another day as hcg doubles every 2-3 days iirc.

I can't remember what concentration the blood test tests for compared to frer. Never had a blood test but I did have frustrating comparisons with gp dip tests in my first pregnancy as theirs a while ago tested at a much higher strength so would be negative when my tests said positive.

I had a line come up on mine at 10dpo was so faint and no colour. Came back to it within an hour and it was still faint but was faintly pink. Took a few more tests later on in the day and they came out positive too.

Any symptoms?

I guess what I meant to say is, if it has colour then I think it’s probably a positive. If it’s grey then I wouldn’t count it xx

If your blood test was 7 days after sex it's unsurprising that it was negative. Why did you have it?
Test again.

I may have calculated slightly wrong. The sex was on the 21st!

I had a very faint line you could hardly see it 10dpo picture below and that was after the time frame and I am now 10 weeks pregnant I did mine every day picture below and it should get darker. Good luck 🙂 looks positive to me tho.

Keep testing every couple of days and fingers crossed!

This happened to me. Negative result then looked at it again 24 hours later. DD2 is now 12 Months.

I’m not sure what this means but I had some tests done approximately a week ago and they appeard with a faint blue line, i am not sure if that happened with the 3 minute time frame. Some tests are with faint line and some tests come back negative. I had some blood tests done and results still to come back. I have been feeling lightheaded for the past 4-5 days and it varies for each day. Yesterday I felt so exhausted and lightheaded, I don’t feel nauseous at all really, I have mild period cramp type pain but had my period 2 weeks ago.
can someone give me some advise?

i have and it’s still a line but faint

Surly that’s a positive @Scots2023 ? When is you AF due?

2 days still but feel absolutely awful so tested and that all popped up

I would say if you have had on 2 different test a faint line, I can’t be Evap line on both ?! @Scots2023

3 have been a faint line and 2 have been negative so I’m just confused
