Please help! Is it an ectopic?

Hi there ladies

I have finally decided to post after much googling and not being able to find a similar scenario. I'm driving myself crazy having to wait.

I experienced an MC (miscarriage) in early Dec and then TTC (trying to conceive) again using an OPK (ovulation predictor kit) later that month which said I was at peak at 28.12. I tested BFP (big fat positive (pregnancy test)) on 11th Jan and then on 13th Jan started lightly bleeding. I went to hospital the following day as got a bit heavier and as they booked me in for a scan on the 15th. Nothing showed on the scan so was booked in for 26th. Based on an ovulation of 28th this would have taken me to 6 weeks LMP. Nothing was on the scan which was surprising as BFP (big fat positive (pregnancy test)) lines had been getting darker (couldn't avoid doing one daily!!!) and started to get nausea and sore boobs. They told me I must have lost it and did an BHCG which came back at 98. They said that was very low. I came back 2 days later and they did another BHCG that came in at 142. They said no way could be normal and must be ectopic but haven't booked me back in for 10 days without wanting to do any more BHCG tests. I did a CB dig yesterday which is now showing as 2-3 wks so definitely still going up. Has anyone ever heard of any success stories where such a low HCG may result in a happy ending?

I don’t want to upset you but unfortunately my story was very similar to yours. Though it wasn’t a happy ending. I’d love to be able to tell you that everything will work out and I really do hope you have more luck then I did, but I also want you to be prepared for the worst.
I wasn’t even 4 weeks when I got a BFP. But shortly after I started having some pains. I had a bladder infection so had my HCG tested at 4+2 weeks since last LMP. It came back 175. Doc said that was low and I was at risk of an ectopic. Booked a Scan for 1 week 2 days later.
Scan (5+4 weeks since LMP) showed a sac in my uterus measuring 5 weeks. Nothing else. Bloods done that day showed HCG at 631.
1 week later HCG was at 1618
2 days later HCG was at 1859
It wasnt doubling as it should and they bought me in for more scans because they were sure it was ectopic and that the thing in my uterus was some sort of air bubble.
But luckily a specialist confirmed it was a Sac and finally at 9+2 weeks since LMP they confirmed there was definitely no baby and I was given medical management.
I had been bleeding for 3 weeks though but hadn’t passed the Sac. So I suppose it was what they call an incomplete miscarriage.
Just be careful. If you get any severe pains go straight to hospital as if they haven’t located the sac in your uterus and your HCG is still rising then it’s highly ectopic. That’s what they told me.
But i have read some stories of HCG rising slightly after a miscarriage, before going down to normal.
I did a lot of searching looking for low HCG stories and I didn’t come across any positive ones where the numbers were as low as mine.
