7 weeks and hungry all the time

I'm 7 weeks pregnant and I'm constantly hungry. If I don't eat I then feel nauseous and horrible. I'm naturally slim and never usually feel this hunger. How can I curb it? I have ginger lozenges for the nausea but sometimes only food will help as my stomach hurts from hunger pangs. It's mostly throughout the day and then as soon as I wake up.

What can I eat which will fill me up but not make me gain lots of weight during pregnancy?

I'm also constantly tired. The nausea is worse when I'm really tired as well.

I was like this during the first trimester as well, I just let myself indulge (tried to be as healthy as possible but sometimes you just have to eat what you can stomach). I did gain a bit of weight but my appetite went back to normal in the second and third trimesters and I gained a 'normal' amount of weight overall (2.5 stone IIRC). I'm naturally slim too and it all came off straight after I gave birth (although the hunger came back with breastfeeding!).

Sorry not much advice on the best foods to eat, but I wouldn't worry about the hunger, it won't last forever.

Eat and don’t worry. Soon you’re tummy will be squashed and there won’t be room for even a scoop of ice cream for dessert, let alone a full meal. Enjoy, snack and sleep - it’ll get easier.
