Best maternity jeans?

I'm only 6+3 but since weekend my tummy seems massive and my current jeans are digging in!

I'm loathe to buy any (more) maternity stuff as was pregnant last year, bought a load of stuff but then had a MMC. However, as I live in jeans (work and home) I think o need to get some.

Got some from Seraphine last time but the crotch falls down as I walk and looks really terrible.

Any recommendations for well fitting jeans which stay up and so look normal?!

My h&m ones looked nice. The black pair came up smaller than the indigo one in the same size. Not expensive either. But tbh at 6ish weeks it'll be bloating, maybe you could get some nice thick jeggings (Next?) as these will see you in good stead when you've had your baby and haven't quite shifted all your belly :) good luck in your pregnancy.

H&M. I lived in them while I was pregnant. Just wish I could find as comfy a pair now I'm no longer pregnant!

Asos

If you want skinny jeans, I've ended up mostly just wearing primark jeggings in a size up (10-12 pre pregnancy and in a size14 now).

Rolled down slightly under bump now but still going (39 weeks!) and work far better for me than the maternity jeans I found. Probably depends alot on your shape and preference though. They are quite thick denimy material and only £6!

Topshop! Try looking on eBay and download the depop app for a bargain. H&M are our the question for me as I'm really short so Topshop all the way.

WineAndTiramisu · 31/01/2018 18:12

Definitely H&M, they seem the most comfortable and aren't expensive

cottagecheesecrumpets · 31/01/2018 18:27

H&M here too! I have two pairs and both very comfortable, and wash well too Smile the black ones have held their colour better than my usual black ones from New Look.

Bellamuerte · 31/01/2018 18:55

My maternity jeans didn't stay up until I grew bigger. In the meantime I wore black leggings. Later on I wore Emilee jeans from New Look (also available to buy from Asos with free delivery and returns).

Get ones that are only stretchy round the front, not all around. They won’t stay up otherwise, well they didn’t for me anyway.

Topshop Leigh maternity skinny jeans!
Fabulous and won't break the bank like other brands

Lentilbaby · 31/01/2018 19:20

H&M and Topshop!
I never normally shop at H&M but was really impressed with their maternity range.

Tobebythesea · 31/01/2018 20:26

Topshop Jamie. So comfy

Topshop Jamie were excellent for my entire pregnancy.

Gap! Especially if you are generally a fan of Gap jeans; they basically have the same range as their normal jeans running true to size but with maternity waistbands rather than standard waistbands. They have under bump, over bump and stretchy inset panels available. I found the inset panels great for the first couple of trimesters and then over bump for the remainder. Looked just like my normal jeans and super comfortable.
