Hi I'm looking for some advice. I will have a 14 month age gap between my DCs and am looking into double prams. Is the icandy any good? Also which one?? There's so many varieties!

I live in a flat so need something not huuuuge, would like use of shopping basket which has pretty much ruled out the oyster max for me. Also don't have a lot of money so will probably be second hand.

Sorry for the waffle, any advice?

i got a great 2nd hand Apple 2 pear on Shpock for £180 so you can get a double at a good price on there!

in regards to size i think Tandems are deffo better than traditional double buggies. But really your best bet would be trying some out and seeing.

I really like the Apple 2 Pear but it is quite a big chassis however i hated the way the peach folds and the Orange is great too but also quite chunky chassis wise!

I've been using this, it links to reviews on them by mums and by the website team too.

I've fallen in love with the iCandy Orange. My eldest will be 2.9 when this one is born but we do a lot of walking. The orange comes with a carrycot and seat unit to perfect for an older one and younger one. Plus, once the older one needs the seat unit, you can either buy an additional seat unit or there is an integrated buggy board. I'm jus my trying to convince my DH now Grin

We will have a 13 month gap between our ds and dd when she arrives. We currently have an icandy strawberry 2 and I love it! We are going for the icandy peach blossom- probably from eBay tbh - we looked at a few but I really liked the peach blossom best. Integrated foot board and both seats/carrycots can face both ways. Also a biggish basket underneath.

I bought the icandy orange and absolutely love it! It definitely seemed the best out there in terms of a growing family.

We will have a 14 month gap and are planning on the mountain buggy duet.

I have the icandy orange and I'm really happy with it. The shopping basket is huge!

We got a 1st generation Peach tandem for £300 and it’s the best.

I find the iCandy Orange is phenomenally dear for what it can actually do (is expwct it to fly at that price) but if you can afford it then why not treat yourself?

Again though, I see little true difference for child or parent with a double peach vs the orange, just £100s of difference.

Please also beware that iCandy prams holding their value is a myth.

Congratulations on the pregnancy; forget what anyone else says about having your hands full, 14mo is a fab age gap xx

Congratulations! I have a 17 month gap (now 11 months and 2 years 4 months- it's brilliant!) and we had oyster tandem which was awful - really heaving and hard to get over curbs. We now have a side by side buggy, the out n about 360 nipper double and I love it. So light and easy to move around and it's the narrowest side by side you can get apparently. I thought it would be a nightmare in shops but it's fine. And they love seeing the the world around them which one of them missed out on with a tandem. Downside = not a huge shopping basket, not car seat compatible so if baby has fallen asleep you'd need to lift across and risk waking them! Good luck, I'm sure you'll find pram for you, but test drive / borrow before you buy if you can

I have the Oyster max and use the shopping basket. It's not bad at all. There is space to store the rain covers under the tandem seat then you have most of the rest for shopping.
