So this is my third pregnancy and I’m 13 weeks. My initial midwife appt wasn’t with the usual one as she was off so full history taken by locum - she classed me as high risk due to being anemic in my previous pregnancies and suffering from extensive bloodloss... fair enough. Went for my scan last week and was booked to see a dr, dr mentioned nothing of the blood loss rather another health issue (I had a gastric band 3 yrs ago)
Been to midwifes today (now the usual one) and explained this to her, she said I was classed as high risk as the gestational weight for my previous 2 was low
they’re 10 and 14 now and perfectly ‘normal’ weights and also my gastric band however the dr said it would cause no problems!
So I’m now booking in for extra scans and appointments and feel like I’m still not any the wiser. Should I just leave them to it or continue questioning it?
