Hi everyone just looking for a bit of advice, sorry if TMI...
I'm 26 weeks pregnant and for the past few days I've been feeling very 'wet' down there, I'm not sure how to describe it but it feels like im weeing sometimes and I'll feel it gush out. It's not wee it's like a discharge but kinda mucusy and slimy? It's mostly clear but the odd bit is tinted green... Just wondering if this is anything to worry about? Baby is also breech if that has anything to do with it? This is my first baby and I'm worrying about every little thing hahahaBlush

I’ve been checked out twice for this because when I call triage for advice and describe it they get me in just to check because it’s watery.. it’s been just discharge both times. Funny you should say about the position of the baby though because it’s always when i feel the baby is low or if I’ve been particularly busy on my feet.

It might be good to get a check to put your mind at rest and they would also do a check for any infection so it’s worth it really.

But in the meantime try not to worry because there’s a chance it could just be wee (sorry to be blunt but happened to me when I sneezed!) and could just be normal pregnancy discharge!

This could be a normal discharge but as it's watery and has a green tinge it is possible that you have a case of Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) which is treatable with antibiotics. Please make an appointment to see you GP as you need to have swabs done to confirm diagnosis.

@PossibiliTea Thankyou and yeah the thing with sneezing happens to me too glad I'm not alone hahah and @whateveryouknow I've been checked for things like that and everything came back clear that's why I'm baffled! No one told me pregnancy was this grossGrinHmm

It seems to be just one of those things! I don’t think they can say as a rule it’s totally normal in the unlikely case it turns out to be something more. But yeah mines different everyday, and definitely get that watery mucusy stuff after lifting, sneezing and when the baby feels low!

Sometimes I think because we have an increase in discharge anyway it might just hang around up there and a sneeze or whatever makes it come out (haha sorry no other way to put it really!)
