Pink spotting at 5 weeks - possible tmi pic

Hi everyone, I had an ectopic pregnancy back in August which was treated with methotrexate, and this month I found out I was pregnant again 😊 however about 4 hours ago when I went to the loo, I wiped and noticed pink discharge/blood 😩 was more like pink mucus rather than blood though.

Now when I’ve checked I’ve had a little bit of pink again (attached picture). It was more than this first though but I didn’t take a picture. Back when I had my to ectopic I had no pain but it started with brown blood, not pink.

Has anyone had discharge/bleeding like this and has it all been ok? I’m praying that it doesn’t worsen overnight or in the morning 😩 I’m due for an ultrasound on Wednesday because of my previous ectopic.

I did read that it can be caused by straining when taking a #2 (which I was 😳) but it might be wishful thinking!

I bleed like this for the first 3 months of my pregnancy. My son is now 8. I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry

I've had exactly the same sort of thing - started on Tues last week, thought it was AF starting, but got BFP on Thurs. It's been on and off since then. I went to the doctors yesterday, he didn't seem too concerned (said to obviously look out for fresh red blood, pain, clots), but he's sent me for an ultrasound on Monday.

I'm afraid I don't have any advice, but just keeping my fingers crossed for you and hope your scan shows a healthy little bubba in there I didn't realise early pregnancy would be this nerve-wracking! X

@Chris1989 I've had that a few times this pregnancy and all is fine, I'm currently 12 weeks pregnant now

Hi everyone, well it turned into brownish discharge rather than pink and got slightly heavier, still not enough for a pad or anything. Since yesterday I've had none at all, my GP advises to just wait for my Wednesday scan. Is the fact it's stopped a good sign? I'm worried about my hCG too though as I still can't get 2-3 weeks on a ClearBlue Digital :(

I had this, and got scanned and was fine. I lost the baby later on but was assured the bleeding had nothing to do with it.

I had bleeding heavier with my son. Bleeding, particularly light bleeding without pain, doesn’t mean anything.

I'm 5 weeks and i've just started having this, as long as it's either very light pink or brown discharge it is the implantation bleeding love :)
Nothing to worry about, it's completely normal! It just means your baby is starting to attach to your wall! Yay!

I had this with DS3, pink bleeding then brown at about 5-6 weeks. It was implantation and he was absolutely fine.

It’s all stopped now and I haven’t had any for at least 2 days 😊 it did turn into browny mucus but not a lot of it at all.

Can implantation bleeding happen twice? I did have spotting at 11dpo which when I presume I had implantation

Implantation is between 4-5 weeks lovely! Before that it can just be your body getting used to it. Get the bounty app it works wonders and has amazing information on there!

I had this and it was pretty much the exact same colour and quantity of your bleeding. I had a scan last week and baby is fine.

Pretty sure that's implantation bleeding - totally normal at that stage of pregnancy.

Hey there please i need help guys and your advice im 5-6 weeks pregnant and got my scan on Wednesday but today had really little pink blood but nothing crazy was only little bit and its happened only a few times not everyday 🥹 im so excited its gonna be my first baby any advice please?
