AM I PREGNANT???

So as everyone probably knows I'm now 4 days late on my period. I had a negative first response test on the due my period was due and another negative test (different bran) the day after. I took a test yesterday and this was the outcome. I went to doctors to confirm and the test there was negative. Ive had nausea and a lot of stretching cramping headaches increased urintation (including during the might) increased hunger and I'm soooooo tired. I feel so pregnant but I'm worried that I'm not and it was an evap line on my positive test

Positive! A line is a line (if it's the colour of the dye, which it is!)

Yes of course, maybe it's my phone but I just don't see a line. And I would have thought at 4 days late it'd be very clear.

I can see a faint line id think that was positive? Id get a early detection clear blue test which would tell you ‘pregnant’ or ‘not pregnant’

It's positive if it has colour. I've never really seen evap lines on a frer. However for four days late your result should be darker. But it is possible you have ovulated later than you thought so you could be earlier on.

I would say positive. I can see a clear line although faint.

@demirose87 my cycle can range from 24-30 days my period is based on 28 days so if my cycle was indeed 30 days this month i wouldve only been one day late when i took this test which would make a little more sense i think

Get a digital clear blue so you can see the words rather than guess on lines x

Positive - Congratulations! I’d wait a few more days if you want to do a digital! My clear blue came up Not Pregnant the day after my FRER looked like yours, I think they just aren’t as sensitive to lower amounts of HCG in the early days

I can't decide whether there's any colour in the line 🤔 and I'd have expected a clear positive if you're already late. Did that come up in the time frame?

That's 100% positive. First response don't even show a shadow if there's no hcg.

Btw it all depends on when ovulation/implantation occurs. Ignore how many days late you are. Test again tomorrow and you should find it turns a bit stronger.

@Spam88 theres 10000% colour in the line in person the doctor even agreed and yeah it did

I don’t think that’s true about FRER not having evaps/shadows, I’ve definitely had them. They have a really definite indent where the dye should be.

I THINK that line has colour to it but it might just be super early, you could have ovulated late? If you’re only getting a super faint line on on a sensitive test, a digital isn’t going to work yet as they are about half as sensitive. See what it looks like tomorrow or in a couple of days.

@Didntcomeheretofuckspiders this isnt a FRER its just a normal first response not early result those are popular in the US but im UK and only got normal first response available here

I took a test at 9dpo and got a faint line like yours. Af due tomorrow and I tested this morning and it was darker but still not as dark as the control line. I’ve mc before so going to phone to doctor and ask him to do hgc blood tests to confirm x

@mumtoone12 I didn’t get a positive test until 4 days late, quite faint.... tried a digital the day after and got pregnant 1-2weeks, when I went for my dating scan funnily enough they pushed my due date back 4 days, I must of just ovulated late that month, but after 6 years of trying we were very pleased!! I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you and maybe try again with fmu tomorrow 🤞🤞

FRER are available in the U.K, I've used them for all my pregnancies.
Looks positive to me - congratulations!
It is very faint though so maybe try testing again in a few days to see if it gets darker. Good luck x
