Sweet baby Jesus, my waters have just broken! I've phoned triage and have an appointment to go in in a couple of hours but I'm really fretting that my antenatal classes aren't til next Thursday. I'm going to be woefully and inadequately prepared for everything, aren't I?

Hi OP, that is super exciting! It's perfectly normal to have a little panic, but you'll be just fine. You're going to meet your baby so soon! Don't worry about not having done antenatal classes. Your body will let you know what to do, and you'll have midwives to help.

Best of luck for a safe and speedy delivery, OP! Thanks

Good luck! How many weeks are you?

Don't worry - I went to antenatal classes and still felt woefully unprepared!! Good luck!!! Hope all goes well and enjoy your little bundle when he / she arrives!!

My antenatal class was mainly about relaxing in early labour. You'll be ok can you have a nice breakfast and watch something funny or listen to some music until your appointment? Have you got a bag packed?

Thank you all. I needed that - nobody is up yet to talk to. My husband is on his way home from working away now. I'm 37 weeks so early-ish but not massively so.
