I was just thinking about different signs of labour ! I’d like to hear other people’s , how long you were in labour , when your waters broke , when you went to the hospital etc ! I’ll start !
I’m now 31 weeks with baby 2! My first labour ... I woke at 6am craving some chilli heatwave Doritos ! (About the spiciest thing I eat) so I ate a bag and went back to sleep untill I woke at 12ish noon with some mild cramps .. didn’t think anything of it when I was speaking to my sister and she was timing them 5-6 minutes apart ... so around 2 I went to pick my mum up from work when it was getting slightly uncomfortable , got home my mum told me she was going for a nana nap 😂 and that it was probably a false alarm and to go have a bath ... as soon as I got in the bath that was it bam ! The pain ! I got stuck , eventually got out and crawled round the kitchen floor😂 so it was full on from there ... and I had back labour. I sat on the floor for the next 4 hours moaning in pain getting stronger and stronger pains ... my mum said around 8.30 I think it’s time you go to the hospital ... I got to the hospital and couldn’t walk so my husband put me in a wheelchair , when I got to the delivery suite I had an old moaning midwife that pulled me out the wheelchair and said don’t be so dramatic your probably only 3-4 cm it’s your first ! Well she examined me and I was 9cm!! The first thing I said was HA!!! Lol so from then on the pain was the same untill bam my waters went and then it all happened so fast and my son was born at 12.31am!! So around 12 and a half hours all in all ! I’d love to hear other people’s stories and see how many different labours there are 😊 sorry it was long I know lol
