Confused.. Faint +ve on CD54

So I am currently on what I thought was CD11 follow a few days of bleeding/spotting which I thought was normal AF. I took 2 clearblue easy tests on 19th Jan (CD42) v.faint positive. Went to my dr the same day who told me "is this what you thought was positive, throw them away they are negative". Left there feeling pretty stupid. On CD43 AF started (possibly implantation), if it was implantation I would now be on CD54 since last AF. I have yesterday and today taken 2 first response tests and again got faint positives. My dr refused to do a blood test. I'm ordering more tests to see if the line becomes darker. What do you guys think? Me and my partner have been trying for over 7 years. We have no children. I have only been pregnant once this ended in miscarriage at 7weeks4days. This was 4 years ago. This is possible second pregnancy. Needing some support and to know if you also see the lines. I took apart the tests if your wondering why they are like that. ReeRee x ibb.co/fxR8eR

I can see faint lines!

CL1982 · 29/01/2018 23:00

I would say get a FRER personally. This lines are very faint tbh and they could be Evaps...?

ReeRee6108 · 30/01/2018 00:10

Hi this was a FRER Test both of them

Ah ok. Don't remove the test from the casing as no-one will take it as a valid test. Usually with FRER you can hold it up to the light and see out the back where the plastic is thinner.

Can you try again this morning or do a 4 hour hold and do another one? You should have a line by now (or by tomorrow) on another FRER if it's positive. My first positive was only a little darker (still in the casing) and that was very early.

ReeRee6108 · 30/01/2018 11:17

I waiting now for a delivery of first responses and clearblue digitals. Hopefully will be able to figure out what is going on. I understand about the casing, the line was just not showing up when trying to take a picture the flash just bounced off the casing. Thank you for your response and I will let you know the results x

I think I can see something but it's so so faint.

In your situation I'd go back and see a different GP about getting a blood test

CL1982 · 30/01/2018 14:32

I think that's a faint line. I reckon give it another 2 days and try again?

I wouldn't bother with a blood test - it'll come out in a few days or it won't...You'll not get the bloods back until then tbh. CBD won't show up this early i wouldn't have thought yet.....you need a good line to get a positive on them.

Isadora2007 · 30/01/2018 14:34

SOrry but it certainly isn’t even a faint line so maybe just wait a few days. HCG levels are meant to double each day so even 2 days will make a difference.

ReeRee6108 · 30/01/2018 14:37

I guess I'll be waiting again lol would just be nice to know. I will hold off the digital then until I see stronger lines xx

Yeah, those are lines. Should get a clearer result tomorrow.

ReeRee6108 · 30/01/2018 18:32

I'm hearing everyone and relating too much. I'm feeling defeated and like I'm going insane. More pics from today's test. I can't believe how shoddy my body is, how can something we were born to do be so hard feeling super disappointed in myself, just had enough no answers just in la la land.

I can see vv faint lines..i hope they are for your sake, I know what it's like to have Long cds and not knowing where I stand with it all

ReeRee6108 · 30/01/2018 18:40

@Abitnutty to be honest I'm not fussed if not positive I just would like to know what to do next. Either I'm pregnant and need to act like it or I'm not and I'm ok to have a drink with dinner etc and get back to trying x

So my understanding is that you must be on cd11 if this is positive. Implantation occurs approx day 10 after fertilisation so if cd50+ you'd be looking at 7-8 weeks pregnant by now so it would defo have shown positive by now. As such you are either not pregnant or you'll presume this is from a new cycle. It's worth noting that hgc is produced after implantation and as such you would get positive shortly after.

I'll be honest though and say they look like evaporation lines to me

ReeRee6108 · 30/01/2018 18:59

@Buttercupsandaisies thank you for your response. Yes I understand what you are saying. Last time I got pregnant I believe I ovulated late, led to a positive result around cd47. I believe what I thought was AF was implantation (IF I am pregnant) otherwise I think it's safe to say maybe o just had a dodgy cycle. I agree with you they are extremely faint. Just feel like I'm in limbo. I wouldn't be massively upset if turns out to be negative, I just don't like anything unclear. General question as I don't know, I have done 6+ tests now, 2 clearblue - faint positive (dr said negative) I know these are bad for evaps, so then did 4 First Response tests and that means I would have 4 evaps. Is that possible? Because I've never had them when testing before. How strange to possibly get 6 evaps over a 2 week time frame xx
