Hi ladies. Is anyone else just finding out they're pregnant? Is there an October babies thread yet?

I don't think there is one yet as I've been looking.. right at the beginning for me .. think my due date is 1st October 😊 x

CRZ1988 · 28/01/2018 17:38

October 6th for me - just found out today after being utterly convinced we had missed our window this month

surreygirl1987 · 28/01/2018 19:44

Ooh me! I've worked out October 7th as being my due date. So excited. Just really anxious about if it will stick. How are you guys feeling? (And congratulations by the way!)

Dannibelle · 28/01/2018 19:54

Me too! 4 weeks and 4 days so baby should be due 3rd October.
Anyone else having any symptoms?!

gingertom11 · 28/01/2018 19:56

Can I join?! Got my BFP today and worked out due date as 10th October. Can't believe it! Had a few pains here and there, feel a little bit sicky/indigestion and maybe a touch more tired but nothing at all bad! Smile so exciting!!

CRZ1988 · 28/01/2018 20:02

@surreygirl1987 hey due date twin 🙋🏻 is this your first?

Im excited but also anxious hoping it will stick! Hubby and I have been together ten years and never had an accident so thought it wasn't going to happen. This is our second cycle TTC.

@Dannibelle the bloating has been ridiculous. Also a little bit of nausea but usually that's after I've had my folic acid.

@gingertom11 congratulations!!

How do you all feel?

I'm excited but like I said before, kind of anxious. Hubby says it's too early to get excited yet....he's a realist.....🤦🏻‍♀️

Hey @CRZ aka due date twin... yup it's my first! Been trying for 6 months and was starting to wonder if there was something wrong so am sooo happy and relieved!

I've been really tired the past few days and a tad nauseous and have annoying cramps. Boobs really painful (but always get that pre AF) and have had loads of milky cm for more than a week now. I keep going to the toilet to check there's no spotting... didn't realise how nerve-wracking the early days would be!

Anyone called their GP yet? I read that we're supposed to, to get booked in for an appointment with a midwife..? I might ring tomorrow. I was waiting until AF was a genuine no-show but all good so far :)

It's nice to have ladies in the same boat to talk to about this... nobody else knows except DH ... and his parents are visiting this weekend so I can't even talk to him about it (in front of them) as we're not telling anyone yet!

Kkk87 · 28/01/2018 20:56

I've been really tired especially today, Literally had no energy all day. Me and DP went shopping and it was a HUGE effort also felt really nauseous for about an hour earlier but it's worn off now. My boobs are tender too but nothing major. I have my midwife appointment on 8th Feb, nothing much happens at that appointment I just get my green notes and book my booking in appointment.. this is my 2nd pregnancy but first ended in mc in September at 5+5 .. I'm very nervous that this baby doesn't stick but trying to think positive. I'm going to book an early scan at 8 weeks just for reassurance

surreygirl1987 · 28/01/2018 21:15

Yes I'm definitely going to book an early scan too! So sorry to hear about your mc - that's my biggest fear right now too.

How much exercise are you guys doing? I was doing 5 sessions a week until bfp but now I'm scared and also don't feel much like it... and one session was high I density competitive swimming training and another was ice skating so I know neither of those are great ideas.

Also I know most advice says it's fine to have sex all throughout pregnancy but I'm worried about that too... really don't want to mess anything up!

anxiouswaiting · 28/01/2018 22:03

I have October due baby - 3rd for me. Sounds awful but after 2 losses at the end of last year I am trying not to get too excited yet, but hoping for my little rainbow in October .

Kkk87 · 28/01/2018 22:04

Well I used to do loads of high intensity training around 4 times a week but I havnt for about 8 months now so I don't really intend starting any exercising now other than lots of walking.

Kkk87 · 28/01/2018 22:05

I'm with you there @anxiouswaiting I can't get too excited either. I feel like I've been robbed of the happiness of getting the BFP coz I've just been worried ever since

Kayleigh1986 · 28/01/2018 23:48

Can I join you please ladies? We got our BFP yesterday and due date is 11th October, we had MC in October at 5 weeks so quite anxious but very excited. What happens next? We have a 10yr old so it’s been a long time since I’ve done this x

Congratulations ladies xx

BlueMermaid96 · 29/01/2018 06:08

10th for me! Only just found out. Very scary for me, second pregnancy. First was a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks.
Can't wait for this to go swimmingly!

BlueMermaid96 · 29/01/2018 06:10

Booked my booking in appointment as soon as I knew just to calm my nerves a lot.
What was everyones first signs? I had extremely sore nipples, I thought they were going to fall off.
I nearly was sick after having my folic acid this morning. First time for that! I get morning sickness at completely random times, bloating, constantly needing to wee too!

CRZ1988 · 29/01/2018 08:53

I've booked my medical appt this morning, I've got it on Weds and its with a doctor who's really nice but really wanted to get in today.

I couldn't resist and did another test this morning. Yep, still positive!

When I woke up to get my alarm I over stretched and felt a twinge in my tummy which I was a bit concerned about but I think I'm just being over anxious.

I've only told my two best friends so far, have you guys told anyone other than your partners?

Hi ladies there is an October thread it's in the antenatal section.

Congrats on bfps

Calatheas · 29/01/2018 09:03

Can I tentatively join? Not got a bfp yet but have been tired all week, period hasn't shown up and last night I had a very vivid dream. This morning I am trying to breathe through some serious nausea on my way to work.

CRZ1988 · 29/01/2018 09:26

I've gone over to the antenatal thread ladies, see you there!

OP posts:
BlueMermaid96 · 29/01/2018 09:50

I was told not to stretch at all, but I can't help myself and forget!
I've only told one person, that was my friend for advice when I was in shock.
Going to wait till the scan to tell people!

surreygirl1987 · 29/01/2018 20:59

I've not told anyone at all except husband...
I've been having lots of cramp and a couple of sharp twinges that have really worried me :(
Going to try and find this antenatal thread then!

DwangelaForever · 29/01/2018 21:27

I've just had my BFP today due October 10th 😍 if all goes to plan this will be my second October baby!
