Cramps

I've been having really bad cramps since before I even found out I was pregnant so maybe a month now. Yesterday I had no cramping at all and I haven't had any today either.
Could this be a sign of a miscarriage or should I be worried?

Following - no advice I’m afraid but I’m also having awful uterine cramps once a day, always in the evening. I’m 5+3. Hope we’ll be ok!

@Marriageoftrueminds fingers crossed for us both!!

I had lots of pain for the first month or two, which I'm pretty sure was my uterus stretching. Unless you're in a lot of pain or bleeding you're probably fine.

Thanks @HolyShmoly the problem is the pains are really bad, they’re very debilitating and make me cry and writhe around! I had an ectopic pregnancy last year so I’m being seen by my epau and my hCG does still seem to be rising (or at least was when I was last tested on Thursday) and they saw a gestational sac on Thursday too. So pregnancy does seem to be continuing despite the pains but I don’t understand what’s causing them. The nurse said it was probably my bowels but I really don’t think it is: it’s rignt behind my pubic bone and very localised in the uterus area Confused

Oh in that case, sorry I don't know, but fx everything is ok! It's good that you have extra support and monitoring in place. Are you having tests every week for the moment?

No worries sorry didn’t mean to sound snappy! Thanks for helping. I’ve got a scan on Thursday so I guess I’ll know more then Smile

I've have bad cramps most days and have done since the start of my pregnancy. I'm 20 weeks and can feel the baby moving around so I'm pretty sure that side of things are okay. I do have a haematoma which could be causing them, but I also remember cramping with my daughter which was a normal, low risk pregnancy. Cramping doesn't always mean the worst! I know it's difficult not to worry but there are plenty of reasons for cramping in pregnancy (especially in the early days) that aren't a cause for concern. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy Thanks

Early pregnancy you will get cramps here and there and one day you will have no cramps it's just your uterus stretching :) I had period like pains more at night time. As long as there's no bleeding don't panic x

I had cramping since I found out I was pregnant but it's just randomly stopped which has kind of scared me. I'm hoping it's just my uterus stopped stretching.
