Feeling really uncomfortable after sex

I'm 29 weeks pregnant and just dtd for the first time in over a month. Having sex was uncomfortable when it was deep but not painful just sharp.

I now feel very uncomfortable in my back/bump area and feel very 'heavy' when moving around and have a dull ache in my lower back. Is this normal or should I be worried?

We had sex yesterday after about 4-5 weeks, I'm 31 weeks Tuesday, and I had the exact same feeling. Felt like I could barely walk as baby felt so far down in my pelvis and also lower back ache. I just took it easy for the rest of the evening and feel fine today. Think there's just a little less room everywhere being that far along and also (TMI) baby maybe have wriggled into a different position with all the moving about! Grin I wouldn't worry at all

I am coming up for 33 weeks and have had this the last few times, Most recently I actually ended up having some mild contractions afterwards too (second baby) which I never got the first time round and things just felt uncomfortable in back and bump I think it's completely normal well am assuming so anyway!

Did you orgasm? It can cause 'tightenings' (like really tiny light contractions/ back ache). Also you blood flow is increased in your vaagina during pregnancy and then more so during arousal so can cause a bloaty sort of feeling.

The pain is due to how your womb is tilted. Try different positions if you choose to do it again.

I've found sex uncomfortable during pregnancy so we've not bothered much, although I haven't really felt like it that much anyway.
Every time I've orgasmed I've then gone on to have awful cramps, tightening and back ache for hours throughout the day. The midwife said this is normal but theres been a couple of times that it's been extremely painful so I don't think its worth it.
