On and off bleeding

Just looking for some advice.. second Pregnacy with first ending in miscarriage. Have been spotting/brown discharge for the past two weeks and all stoped until last night when had a big gush of red blood and nothing since. Have had a scan last week where they dated me at 5 weeks (I thought I was 6) no heartbeat as of yet and was back in a&e yesterday where they say everything looks fine and bloods came back fine but have to wait a week for my next scan.. feels like torture not knowing what is happening with my baby

Didn't want to read and run. Early pregnancy is a scary time, especially after a previous loss. I had an early scan that said I was 5 weeks too (I thought I was 6) and then 2 weeks later I was dated a 8+1! Keep an eye on the bleeding. Hope it all works out for you!

I feel the same, it is so up and down at the minute.

I started with brown wipes on Tuesday night through to Thurs Morn. I had a drs referral to EPAU on Friday. Everything looks normal, but as you said cos it is so early there is no heart beat just yet. I have started getting a different type of bleeding now, it is more egg white with blood in, I have been told it is completely normal.

I am just taking it easy, luckily I am self employed and work from home so I can push myself as hard or as easy as I want to. Got another appt in 2 weeks time to check that everything is developing right, but it looks promising.

I had this and was convinced I had lost the baby. At your scan, they will check for a damaged area in your womb. It has a name but I can't remember it. Turned out I had this and the bleeding was that rupturing. Didn't make it any less scary. I'm 25 weeks now and the bleeding stopped at 11 weeks.

Thankyou for your reply ladies I've had no more bleeding since being on bed rest so hoping this is a good sign.. it's nice to hear story's where it's worked out and not always the bad ones you read all over google x
