Not much movement

I’m 24 weeks and I have felt baby moving since 18 weeks, there’s been a couple of times when he has stopped moving and I’ve gone to the MW to listen to him on the Doppler and each time he has been there beating away. Last time I had to go was Tuesday as he hadn’t moved but again he was there! Since then I genuinely haven’t felt him again and his movements don’t have a pattern. The MW said a pattern doesn’t happen until 28 weeks and I have an anterior placenta so this can cushion the kicks but when I do feel him it’s not cushioned. I don’t want to keep going back and forth to either the MW or the hospital with reduced movements or none at all but I’m so paranoid. I had an early miscarriage in my previous pregnancy so I know I’m over cautious anyway. What’s your advise??

Always always always get checked if you’re in doubt. Midwives would rather check you 100 times and it all be okay, than once and there be a problem.

Although they say you should get checked, I have phoned befor and been told they won't do anything before 28 weeks. I have an anterior placenta too and movement pattern changes regularly so I guess that's why.
