Has anyone used the clear blue pregnancy test that can be used 6 days before periods due?

I have a ds, and kinda trying for number 2, had sex at right time, and been feeling the way I did with number 1 - I knew before missed period then I was pregnant (severe morning sickness) but waited till day period due to test.
I've been feeling the same way again, period due weds but thought the tests were quite accurate now so tried it this afternoon (5days before period due) and it said negative.

Has anyone else used this test before period due? Is it accurate??

I have read on other boards that clear blue may not be the best, FRER are generally seen as being most accurate.

It’s still quite early and at this stage you should really be using first morning urine. I would retest in a couple of days

Thank you,

I know it's too early but I've been feeling so sick I just wanted to know lol.

It’s so hard to resist testing Smile

Generally if you have enough hormones in your body to have symptoms, then you have enough for a positive pregnancy test. A FRER is the most accurate early on.

The "6 days" thing actually means 6 days before a missed period so technically 5 days before period is due

FRERs are by far the best early pregnancy tests on the market OP. I got my BFP at 7DPO BUT that was highly unusual and something weird made me test that early. It's not usual!!

I'd say 12DPO it'll be picking up a line for the majority of women though. Some won't be have a positive that early even on a FRER though.

I used first response personally I hate clear blue they take much longer to show positive that first response I got my bfp on day 8 with first response and not until day 12 with clear blue!!! First response have a sensitive of around 7! I believe clear blue may be around 25! So that’s a huge difference in those early days

I initially did an early test with my current pregnancy (I’m 37 weeks) and it came back negative. It’s annoying but probably best to wait.

We've been trying for DC3 for 8 months, used a bunch of early response (mostly clear blue), nothing even when I was sure I was feeling something. Did a bunch of research re time taken to implant etc and despite how accurate these early tests can be I can really see why it's best to test when period due. Average implantation takes 8-10 days the. At least two days for hormones to reach your wee. On the upside I have had no symptoms at all (have had sore boobs on previous pregnancies) and have just POAS as period a day late and apparently I'm 2-3 weeks pregnant

I user clear blue digital two days before period due as wanted to do a test on Christmas day and came back positive. 6 days may be a little early. Try and wait until due date if possible as tests are so expensive xx
