Faint line on clear blue test... is this positive?!

Very new to all this but have seen similar threads to this before! I took a test wednesday and thought it was positive but then looking again decided it wasn’t. Done one today and can swear I can see a faint faint line!!!! What do you think??

Maybe post a picture to see if others can see a line? How late is AF?

My first test was a very faint line, I was convinced it was nothing but my fiancé swore blind he could see one. Of course he was right

AF is due today/sat/sun (haven't had the most regular cycles) but have been using natural cycles for conception and think got caught on a fertile day!

Try again with your first mornkng weem today when you wake up. Failing that, you can always try a digital test which will literally spell it out for you.

Hey, OP - Did you take another test this morning?

If you can see a line, however faint, you're pregnant. Anything that can show up on a photo here is absolutely a positive.

Still won't let me post a photo which is SOOOO annoying but yes I did a first response last night and this morning both have similar faint lines... pinkish in colour but convinced they are evap lines as they didn't come up straight away within 2-3 mins came up about 5-6 mins x

Frer are accurate but for early positives they can take a few minutes for the test line to develop

Evap lines come much later, like when it's dried out.

Another first response done this morning and a faint pink line, no darker than the others I have done though and clear blue digital says 'not pregnant'. So confused

AF is due today

Clear blue is not as sensitive as first response so you will get any earlier positive with first response.

Do you not think the first response line should get darker? I've done 3 in the last 3 days x

It is measuring levels of hcg in your urine and it doubles every 48/72 hours so you might not notice it getting darker for a few days. If you can wait a day between testing and you might notice more of a difference. Saying that I couldn't wait and tested everyday with cheaper tests and then stopped when I got the 'pregnant 1-2 weeks' with a digital.

Just to add to the confusion I've down two boots early tests and they've been bfn. :(

I did an early test when I suspected "implantation bleeding" (it was a lot different to my usual period, so I thought I may have been pregnant) and it came back negative. 4 weeks later I had no period so tested again (4 times!) and got 4 positives. Maybe wait a few days if AF was due yesterday and try again.
