Due date confusion!

I’ve just joined so please forgive me if this has already been posted!

I had my first BFP on 30.12.17..
I used a clear blue digital one which read 1-2weeks which baffeled me as my last period started 8.12.17 & I know your supposed to add 2 weeks on...🤔

Anyway I had my first midwife appointment today as I thought I must be further gone than the test says..

She said about 8 weeks & gave me a due date of 6th September... however this afternoon I had a private scan with window to the womb and they told me I’m 7weeks + 2.. but my due date is 3rd September?! How can I not be as far along but a sooner due date?!! My brain is FRIED 😩😩😩😩

Midwife may have calculated it wrong? Mine did. Wouldn't worry too much, they'll finalise your due date at the 12 week scan. The Internet reckons that with your LMP date, you should be due on the 14th and are currently 6 weeks, 6 days... Have you tried an Internet due date calculator?

This is my second pregnancy and I feel so much further along :( I’m getting a bit of s belly too! I’m just so confused! I guess I’ll wait until the 12 week scan like you say and see what that says xx

Things happen earlier in second pregnancies. The discrepancy is only a few days, it doesn't matter.
