Had my 37 week mw appointment this morning and bump is measuring slightly off the growth chart so they’ve booked me a growth scan for tomorrow. She said it’s nothing to worry about and I suppose I should believe her haha! But has anyone else had anything similar and what was the outcome?

I've had two extra scans this pregnancy because my bump measurements are all over the place.(baby measures fine on scan)...its actually quite common. It's highly likely that it will all be fine and baby will be measuring within normal range. Fundal height measurement are relatively inaccurate but are a good screening tool to highlight when there might potebtially be a problem....hence the scan.

They will check the amount of water around baby and look at the blood flow between placenta and baby to check that's all ok.
If there is anything amiss I expect the sonographer will refer you to the obstetric team or arrange another scan/extra monitoring.
You'll get to see your baba again which is lovely.

(Sorry for the typos...over enthusiastic .
toddler climbing on me....)
They'll obviously check baby's measurements and expected weight too.

I had this, had a tiny bump all the way through but they only started to worry suddenly at the end. I went for a scan - my baby was fine but I had significantly reduced fluid. (So little, in fact that I'm still waiting for my waters to break and the 'baby' is now 12! Grin ) They wanted to induce me a couple of days later, but I went into labour spontaneously before then.

I'm sure you'll be fine, honestly!

I got sent for an urgent scan (same day) at 36 weeks for the same reason. No problem with my son and he was the heaviest of my three even though he was 15 days early at 7lb 2.

I was sent for one at 36 weeks after my bump supposedly grew a lot and stopped following the curve. Sonographer checked the measurements, fluid etc. If there'd have been any concern I was told I'd be sent to the day unit for monitoring and to be seen by one of the consultants. However all looked ok and I was just sent home to worry about the prospect of giving birth to a giant! Almost 39 weeks and desperate to get her out now!
