Hello could anyone give me any info on this. I’m due in March but left my job in January due to moving away. I am entitled to smp so was told I would get this paid monthly for 9 months. But my employer has just messaged asking if they can pay it in one lump sum? Surely I will get taxed heavily for this ? I would rather have it as a monthly payment.
Any help would be appreciated thanks x
