Hi everyone. Me and my boyfriend have been trying for a baby for 4 months now. My period is due tomorrow however I've had a lot of cramp, sore heads, heartburn that I never ever have, increased urination, and a lot more wind than usual. I took a clear blue early detector test on Monday 5 days before period is due and it was negative and I took a clear blue digital the day after 4 days before my period is due and it came back not pregnant however I feel like I am and have many symptoms. Has anyone ever experienced false negatives from these tests or is it too early?

Test tomorrow .

It’s still very early and you’re just putting yourself through unnecessary stress by testing this early. Wait until you’re period is late then test again then.

Clear blue are not sensitive tests. Especially digital ones. Wait until the day after period is due at least. You're wasting money.

You're testing too early with notoriously insensitive (and expensive) tests.

Don't torture yourself - don't test until after your period is due.

It wouldn't be a false negative. It's just likely if you are that you're testing too early. I'm having my 2nd now and I felt obvious nausea from 5 dpo this time. Like I felt really awful. I was convinced I must be pregnant. I tested 4 days before my period was due and it was completely negative. Even though I'd been having nausea for 5 days already at that point. It was just too soon. I didn't test again (was sure I wasn't pregnant) until the day after my period should have arrived because I felt so sick I had to come home from work early. It was clearly positive by then. I'm due any day now. So it is possible you're just jumping the gun. I'd give it a few more days.

OP-I am not anti testing early but if you do it use a FRER. They are by far the most sensitive tests on the market. You can get them cheaper online.

I would also wait a few days.

You'll drive yourself crazy with all this testing and symptom spotting, especially if it turns out the journey to your positive test is a long one (I should know!).
