With first DD I was sick from the very start up until the day I gave birth.
Now on 2nd pregnancy, and have been so much worse. Hyperemisis throughout the first trimester, in and out of hospital, now just tiptoeing into the 2nd trimester- not sick 24/7 as I have been before- but still sporadically throughout the day. Always once in the morning.
It tends to generally be better after I've eaten.

Weeks 7-11. Just put up with it.

Rockandrollwithit · 25/01/2018 12:43

With DS1 it started at around 6 weeks and went at 20.

With DS2 the nausea and vomiting started from week 5 and did not stop until he was born. It was awful 🤢

Week 6-12 for me

BothersomeCrow · 25/01/2018 12:52

Ds - 16-18 weeks only.
Dd - from about 2 days from conception until about 4 months.

Slight nausea weeks 5-8, no vomiting. I'm sure I won't be anywhere near as lucky if I have another!

bluechameleon · 25/01/2018 12:58

DS: 6 weeks to 16 weeks
DC2: 7 weeks to 18 weeks

bluechameleon · 25/01/2018 12:59

And I coped by eating small amounts very frequently, mainly plain carbs such as crackers. Had to hide in the cupboard during lessons sometimes!

hannknitted · 25/01/2018 13:03

I was about weeks 6-12 too. I'm 14 weeks now and have only just started feeling a bit more normal over the past few weeks.

Lukeandlorelai4Ever · 25/01/2018 14:11

Dd - 5 and a half weeks- 12 weeks

Now - 7 weeks- 28 weeks
Still gag daily now at 31 weeks but no more vomiting

gryffen · 25/01/2018 16:06

I've had nausea at lots of points during the last six weeks (I'm 11+4) and thrown up a few times including today but my main symptoms are weird belly balloon feelings and sensitive nipples.

I have found something that works, Lidl do a lovely oat cookie that's coconut and Treacle and settles the belly

Weeks 5-13

Aintlifelikethat · 25/01/2018 22:08

I had nausea from weeks 5-13 and nausea and vomiting from weeks 13-the day I gave birth!

What really annoys me (and I didn’t realise it was possible until about 5 weeks in) is that I still get nauseous when breast feeding 6 months on.

isthistoonosy · 25/01/2018 22:11

Didn't have any with either pregnancies.

(some lovely painful SPD that is still persisting at 3yrs pp with the second though)

IdblowJonSnow · 25/01/2018 22:20

About six to 14ish weeks both times.

Lilsquish · 25/01/2018 22:27

6-34 for me. Although after about 26 weeks it wasnt as debilitating.

34+ i could eat!! Yay

DramaAlpaca · 25/01/2018 22:33

DC1 9 to 20 weeks
DC2 12 to 20 weeks
DC3 5 to 20 weeks

I thought I'd got away with it with DC2 but the minute I stopped breastfeeding DC1 when I was 12 weeks the sickness kicked in with a vengeance.

LaurG · 25/01/2018 23:21

I think I got quite lucky. Started early about 6 weeks and more or less finished by week 10 with the odd day after that.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 25/01/2018 23:24

I was never actually sick, with any of my three (well, apart from the time I scoffed a whole bag of dolly mixtures - that really wasn’t a good idea) - but I felt queasy a lot of the time, from the early weeks of pregnancy, right up to the end. And in the last couple of months I got heartburn too - just to add variety!

MooseBeTimeForSnow · 25/01/2018 23:36

Didn’t have any. I had irregular periods, so my expanding stomach was the first clue.

soundsystem · 25/01/2018 23:39

5 weeks to 20-something weeks. First time round I really suffered, second time round I asked my GP for help, 3rd time round I demanded politely requested medication as soon as i knew i was pregnant

Barbie0316 · 27/01/2018 22:29

As soon as i found out at around 4weeks pregnant i had severe nausea. No vomiting thank God I rarely vomit and didn't at all in my last pregnancy. Im very grateful for that since I suffer from emetophobia Wink

Indigo89 · 28/01/2018 09:08

Started at 7 weeks with nausea. Was sick and could barely eat or drink between 8 and 10. All nausea gone by week 11.

charley39 · 28/01/2018 17:23

Started at around 4-6 weeks. Had a pause between 19weeks and 30weeks and then back to square one, currently at 38+4.
