Anyone got conceived 3-4 days before ovulation?

I had unprotected sex on Thursday even and got a positive ov test Sunday morning and at 5pm even darker line, then later in the evening it was negative, so I think I may have ovulated Monday. Monday and Tuesday morning I got white blob cm, I.e not stretchy, so does that mean ov has happened?

If i did ov on Monday it was about 3.5 days or 4 days since dtd, I know it's unlikely but feel a bit on edge till I experience my period. Has anyone managed to conceive 3-4 days before ov?

They save speed can survive up to 7 days so someone must have.

I think I probably did with my youngest. I wasn't tracking my cycle at the time so can't be sure but thinking about it, I know exactly which occasion we conceived and I know that I didn't take a test until about 3 weeks after that when I was 2 days late.

I also think that I might be pregnant now. I've been nauseous in the mornings and evenings since Monday. I've had cramping since the end of last week, my boobs feel heavy and sore and I've had horrendous heartburn for the last 2 days. The smells that made me feel nauseous in my first pregnancy are making me feel nauseous too. I have also never had any PMS in my life so this is unusual for me. Last period was 3 Jan, we dtd on 12 Jan which according to several online calculators was within my fertile days. I then ovulated (again according to the calculators) on 16 Jan (4 days after dtd), although I had very bad cramps on 17th (5 days after dtd) so suspect it was actually then. BUT. We used a condom. Without being too graphic I did think I had produced rather a lot of bodily fluids after dtd but DH said condom was normal and hadn't split, but I'm now wondering if something got through. Equally I suppose all of my symptoms could be explained away. I'll probably be testing on Sunday, which is the day before I'm due, so I'll let you know!

I do absolutely think it's possible. It does rather sound to me like you want to be pregnant very much. I don't think you would have taken the risk had you not. I think you should think about that. It's all scary. I think that even when you really want a child it's really scary, but more so when you're not quite sure or things aren't quite right but you still really want to.

Yes, dtd cd11, ovulated cd14. Got pregnant. Didn't dtd at any other time that month.

For this current pregnancy, I had unprotected sex 4 days before the day I ovulated. I didn't take a test to confirm that I was ovulating on thar day, but I always know when I'm ovulating because I get these distinctive 'ovulation pains' which last a day.

I'm sorry if that's not quite what you wanted to hear, I just thought I'd his an honest answer.

Reading your original post again, it seems you might actually be hoping you're pregnant? If that's the case, I hope you are!

We always had to target things for the day i ovulated unfortunately. Never happened for us but everyone is different!

I guess have to just wait and see, I would be shocked if I was.

In answer to your question yes. Took a test this morning and am pregnant. So dtd 12th Jan and ovulated on 17th Jan judging by the cramps I had.
