Hi everyone!
Just a quick question, my wife is 11 days pregnant and shes experiencing stomach pains...this is our first and would love some advice

Try not to stress. Everything is stretching out a bit down there and cramps and period type pains are fairly common. If the pains intense or there’s any bleeding call 111 and ask for advice x

I’m assuming you mean it’ss 11 days since ovulation/conception? Pregnancies are usually counted from the first day of your last period so that would make her around 3 weeks and 4 days pregnant. It’s still very early days, I’m surprised you even know she’s pregnant yet. It could be implantation cramping but obviously with it being this early she could also be about to have her period as it could potentially be a chemical pregnancy (very very early miscarriage).

You found out she was pregnant yesterday? So she’s about 3 weeks? It’s so so early if her period is not due for another 3 days that you’ve really got no way of knowing if it’s usual stretching (and, if she is pregnant there’s a lot of stretching to happen) or a chemical pregnancy. Wait until her period is due and take it from there.

I had pains like the cramp u get when u have an upset stomach, am now nearly 40 weeks pregnant

I had cramps similar to period cramps for the first couple of weeks after I tesyed positive (so weeeks 5 and 6). Worried me at the time but is perfectly normal. Unless the pain intensifies or there is any bleeding then I think it's normal.

I thought my period was coming as I kept having cramps and pain. Even after I did a test I had several pain for a couple of weeks.
