Weeing too much?

I'm almost 28 weeks and over the past couple of days I sometimes feel the urge to wee literally within minutes of being to the toilet. If I try to go again straight away it will be a tiny trickle ...but then less than 10 minutes later and I'm desperate again.

Is this just baby kicking my bladder or could it be a sign of urine infection? I don't have any pain when urinating but I do get an uncomfortable sensation when raising my right knee, its the feeling of my bladder being full if that makes sense?

I have to pee loads some days. Seems to be when twin 1 is really head down into my bladder, makes peeing a trickle too. I don't worry about it unless there's other symptoms of a UTI.

If you're worried just ask your GP receptionist if you can leave a tribe sample to be tested. You might not even need an appointment. Mine do this.

It's probably the uterus pressing on the bladder but do give your midwife a call - it could be a UTI or it could be a sign of gestational diabetes. One of the reasons I knew I had it the first time around was because I was getting up to go 3 times a night. Fingers crossed it's just the baby being naughty! 🤞🏻
