20 week scan- still not fully signed off even after rescan!

Hi all
So my first 20 weeks scan, everything was fine except she could not get a good view of the heart due to awkward positioning of baby. So we were booked on a second attempt which happened Friday
Again.. awkward position so could sign off the incatracies of the heart. She can see there are the correct amount of chambers/valves etc but couldn't see the details so couldn't sign off fully. Although she said nothing to worry about as everything does look perfect.
The NHS won't provide another scan to get this signed off. 2 is the limit.
Has any else had similar? Has anyone gone private for the 20 weeks scan instead?

This is my first child so I may be worrying for no reason
Thanks in advance!

No advice here but I'm due my second scan on Thursday as they couldn't see heart properly so really hoping they can this time.
I understand it's worrying no getting it signed off but if there was anything they saw that worried them they would bring you back. Could you afford to book a private scan for them to do the checks for peace of mind?

Hello! No she said nothing she can see worries her at all
Yes, I've been looking at private scans and will probably book on for my peace of mind
Hope your second scan goes well!

I’ve got to be re scanned on Friday (3 weeks after the first) as the sonographer couldn’t see anything of the babies development due to chunky and awkwardly placed placenta. I’m nervous I’m going to have a similar outcome on Friday so following with interest.

Same happened for us. At 20wk scan they couldn't get a view of baby's face or all of the heart. Re scanned at 22 weeks. Again in an awkward position so they saw what they could. Sonographer wasn't worried about anything they saw, so neither am I.
