Hi all just wondering if thry can mistake a 18 week scan for a 12 week scan. & be further along. Thanks

No of course they can’t. Every baby develops in the same way especially early on, the 12 week scan is most reliable for dating. More reliable than scans completed earlier. Why do you think it is 6 weeks out?

There was only two time something happened sex wise with two months differents and two light periods in between I've heard a lot about implantation bleeding and started to overthink but I had my scan and they dated it 12+5. I'm with you I think that much different would be picked up on as there probably could of told me the sex of baby,but I just wanted some one else's opinion.

No there's no way they can be 6 weeks out on a scan. If they dated you at 12+5 that's what you are
